Leah Ansell is a figurative painter whose work is influenced by personal narratives and encounters with the subjects she meets. Through exploring each subject she develops works which encapsulate moments in time with each face that graces her canvas.
Ansell received her BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She is currently working as a visual arts educator in the South Bronx.
